Riverside Health System is an organization of owned or contractually managed not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare and associated support service facilities, located primarily in Eastern Virginia. The System is organized as a private non-profit corporation. The responsibility and authority for the management is vested in a voluntary Board of Directors, comprised of community leaders.
Riverside Health System's mission is to improve the health and well being of the people in the communities where we provide care. Programs and services span the areas of prevention, acute care, long term care, rehabilitation, ambulatory care, managed care, educational services and home care. We provide these services to all persons who can benefit from them, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin or ability to pay.
